On the afternoon of October 12, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of the Hubei Provincial Communication Society Wuhan Liubo Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. Yang Bo, Deputy Secretary General of the Hubei Provincial Communication Society, delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony. It is reported that in 2021, the Hubei Provincial Association for Science and Technology's "Science and Technology Innovation Source Project": the Hubei Provincial Communication Society, in collaboration with Wuhan Liubo Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., approved the "Service Innovation Society" project for the "Research and Testing of High Speed Wireless Laser Receivers for 5G Base Stations". To promote the application of wireless optical communication technology in mobile communication 5G networks, the project collaborates on high-speed wireless laser communication equipment for data transmission from 5G base stations in the field of space optical communication, as well as the development and testing of high-speed optoelectronic receivers.

Wuhan Liubo Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is a member unit of the Hubei Communication Society, and has long participated in activities and resources related to the association. With the service and support of the Hubei Provincial Communication Society, the framework of the Enterprise Science and Technology Society has been preliminarily established, and multiple experts in the field of optical communication from the expert and scholar library of the Provincial Communication Society have been gathered to solve multiple technical difficulties for our company, achieving good results. Successfully completed the development of fixed-point laser bridges, balanced photodetectors, and underwater high-speed optical communication equipment for industry, university, and research projects, and put them on the market.

In this seminar, Ai Yong, the second level professor of Wuhan University, the director of the Wireless Laser Professional Committee, introduced the idea and prospect analysis of the application of Liubo Optoelectronics' wireless laser communication technology in 5G base station data transmission; Zheng Chenglin, Technical Director of China Telecom Hubei Transmission Bureau, introduced the data transmission interface of 5G base station equipment; Zou Dongbo, the project manager of China Mobile Hubei Co., Ltd., gave a special report on the basic principles of 5G base station equipment, as well as 5G micro base stations and network deployment technology; Dr. Liu Zheng, General Manager of Fiber Optic Online, gave a report on the development trend of optical communication from ECOC2021.

This seminar focuses on cutting-edge technologies, industrial applications, ecosystems, and other dimensions, analyzing the latest progress and future development trends of information and communication technology and industry. It plays an important bridge role in improving and strengthening the exchange and integration of various enterprises and units in the Wuhan optical communication industry chain.
