On September 18, 2021, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) organized relevant experts at the Shenzhen Observatory to conduct on-site acceptance of the Fabry Perot Interferometer (FPI) equipment (LB-100FPT-M3A) jointly developed by Wuhan Liubo Optoelectronics and Wuhan University. The attending experts inspected the FPI equipment installed at the Shenzhen Observatory on site, and the development party demonstrated the various functions and observation results of the equipment. The experts listened to the special report of the project undertaking unit and reviewed the document materials. After discussion and questioning, the acceptance expert group fully affirmed the achievements and completion status of various indicators in the development of the FPI equipment, unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance, and suggested strengthening market promotion efforts.
It is reported that the Fabry Perot Interferometer (FPI) equipment jointly developed by Wuhan Liubo Optoelectronics and Wuhan University is the first domestically produced commercial equipment with independent intellectual property rights in China. It retrieves atmospheric temperature and horizontal wind field at altitudes of 80-96km and 250km by detecting Doppler frequency shifts of 630.0nm, 557.7nm, and 892nm airglow radiation at altitudes of 80-300km. The technical indicators of the equipment have reached international advanced levels, Fills the domestic gap of this equipment. This equipment has the ability of remote control and data communication, and has the ability of unattended automatic observation. The development of this equipment is of great significance to the development of high-altitude atmospheric exploration and space physics research in China.
